Come back to yourself.

There is a voice within you that knows.
It knows when something is a yes.
It knows when something is a no.
It knows when it is time to stay, when it is time to leave, when it is time to speak, and when it is time to simply be still.
Sometimes we just need enough quiet to hear it.

Come sit with me for a while.

Before we go any further, take a long, slow inhale.
And exhale.
Let your shoulders drop.
Feel that?

That beautiful ahhhhhhh.

There is nothing you need to figure out in this moment.
You don’t need another person to tell you what is right for you.
You don’t need someone else’s understanding or permission to honor what you know.
You don’t need to become someone else.

You are already enough.
And you already know.

Your most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.

Your most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.

I spent years looking outside of myself for answers.
Trying to make the right choice.Trying not to disappoint people.Trying to keep the peace.Trying to understand what I should do.

And through years of meditation, inner work, enormous life changes, heartbreak, healing, and learning to truly listen to myself, I discovered something that changed everything:

I am in relationship with myself.

The more present I became, the more clearly I could hear my own inner voice.

And the more I trusted that voice, the less willing I became to abandon myself in order to keep the peace, gain someone’s approval, or make someone else comfortable.

I began choosing what was true for me.
Not from urgency.
Not from fear.
Not because someone else thought they knew what was best for me.

From within.

This is the work I am here to do.

I don’t believe I am here to give you the answers to your life.

You are the one who knows.

My work is to create a space where you feel safe enough, quiet enough, and present enough to hear yourself again.

A space where your shoulders can drop.
Where your jaw can unclench.
Where tears are welcome.
Where there is no rushing.
Where you don’t have to perform, explain, defend, or have it all figured out.
Where we can simply be with what is here and listen for what is true.

I will walk beside you, not ahead of you.
I am not here to hand you a map.

Perhaps I am simply here to hold the lantern while you remember that the compass has been within you all along.

You are safe here.

Maybe you are moving through a transition.
Maybe something that once fit no longer does.
Maybe you have spent so much of your life listening to everyone else that you aren’t quite sure what your voice sounds like anymore.
Or maybe you simply feel a whisper that there is more of you waiting to be lived.

You don’t have to know what comes next.
You don’t have to immediately fill the space created by what you have released.
You are allowed to sit in the sacred space of not knowing.

To breathe.
To listen.
To be.

And when the next step is yours to take, I believe you will know.

From the Front Porch

This has become one of my favorite places to simply be.

A cup of coffee. The dogs nearby. Morning light. A journal. A few deep breaths. No urgency to become anything other than who I already am.

So imagine there is another rocking chair here beside me.

Come sit.

Bring all of you.

There is nothing you need to prove here.

We can talk. We can breathe. We can walk. We can sit in the quiet.

And somewhere in that spaciousness, you may begin to hear something you haven’t heard in a while.

Yourself.

Welcome back. 💛

Thank you!
